Throw a ball for your happy hound and watch him chase across the lawn at this enticing country cottage on the Isle of Wight. Set in tranquil, rural surroundings near Wroxall, 2 miles from Ventnor, the three-bedroom hideaway offers reverse-revel accommodation and a lovely garden with peaceful views. Perfect for a family group with up to two dogs in tow, the cottage is well located for adventures at Ventnor Botanic Gardens and Steephill Cove (both within 4 miles).

Usher your contented canine in from the garden to discover your bedrooms and bathrooms at ground-floor level. These include a sumptuous king-size bedroom, with an en-suite shower room, a bunk bedroom, and a twin bedroom that can also be made up as a double by prior request. There is also a family bathroom. Climb the spiral staircase up to the first floor, with your delighted dog following carefully behind you. Emerge in an impressive lounge/diner, with a vaulted and beamed ceiling. Let him explore while you settle on the comfortable sofas to watch the Smart TV or discuss the dog-friendly activities of the day. There is also a lovely table in here for celebratory and special dinners. Head through to the kitchen/diner to feed your four-pawed pet and whip up a tasty meal for everyone else to sit down to in here or through in the main room. Open the door and follow your faithful friend out into the fresh air of the sun deck. Play games with him out the garden then sizzle supper on the BBQ and pour yourself a glass of something chilled to enjoy as the sun goes down.

Venture 2.5 miles to roam picturesque Ventnor Downs with your chum. Enjoy a long walk together out along the coast path from Steephill Cove.

Perfect stay for peace and quiet. The cottage is absolutely fabulous being clean and comfortable. Sitting on the terrace is wonderful. Spiral stairs can be a challenge as the bathrooms are downstairs in this 'upside down' house but otherwise perfect.

Just got back from a weeks stay. Marcie was there to greet us and show us around the cottage. The cottage itself is situated in the farm yard next to the main farm housel. It's a working farm but this never disturbed or affected our stay in the slightest. There was an unexpected welcome basket full of local goodies. Superb location, great cottage, friendly and helpful owner. 100% recommend. Loved some of the finishing touches such as fresh cut flowers and welcome basket including some bubbly and everyday essentials.

Had a lovely stay at Garden Cottage. Hosts very friendly and welcoming and the cottage had pretty much everything we needed for the week. Will be back.

Garden Cottage on Span farm is a lovely place to stay. Cottage was clean and we were made to feel very welcome by the hosts. The welcome pack we received on arrival was amazing.! Being close to Ventnor it was easy to get to most attractions and the scenery from the cottage was beautiful. Look forward to returning to the Isle of Wight soon.

Wow, what an enjoyable holiday! Immediately fell in love with the house and the surroundings.
