Make memories to remember when you stay at this exquisite, dog-friendly thatched cottage near Netherby. Sleeping just two guests, the one-bedroom puppy paradise nestles in the undulating surroundings of Dorset's beautiful countryside, with its myriad of dog walks. It is 3 miles from Beaminster, 5.5 miles from Bridport and 7.5 miles from the coast, with its dog-friendly beaches. It also has a lovely lawned garden where your chum can chase and bound.

Wipe muddy paws then let yourselves into this white-washed, picture-postcard hideaway to find homely accommodation that is perfect for couples and their four-legged friends. Find yourselves in the welcoming lounge/diner, where you can spend quality canine time together before and after your many excursions. Let your contented companion doze quietly in here while you watch the Smart TV, enjoy a few pages of your book and chat about your Dorset adventures. Head through to the compact kitchen to dish up the fresh cuts you have bought for your hungry hound on your trips out and to rustle up a romantic meal for the two of you to enjoy at the table in the main room. Have a refreshing shower in the ground-floor shower room before settling your sleeping pet for the night and heading up to the double bedroom. Wake up to glorious views on sunny mornings then take your pal outside to explore the garden and keep you company as you have breakfast out in the fresh summer air.

Watch your delighted dog bound in and out of the waves at West Bexington where there are large sections that are pup friendly all year round. Pick up the South West Coast Path down here too and tire furry feet with long walks in either direction. Plan a day trip out into the Blackdown Hills, 13.5 miles away.

Lovely area to visit, we could have walked for miles along Hive beach. Lovely walks (Golden Cap, Pilsden Pen, Gerards Hill and Northcombe Beacon) and village pubs nearby (Hare and Hounds and New Inn). We found Netherbury a very friendly village to stay in. The cottage is 300 years old and comes with its own quirky attributes. It states it is dog frRead moreiendly and although the garden is a beautiful space for a dog to run around it is not secure and has a large opening which leads out onto the road Hide
