Bring your pampered pets and enjoy walkies in the nearby nature reserve or around the historic sites of the dog-friendly city of Lincoln. This high-quality house, set on the edge of a golf course, has four versatile bedrooms to sleep eight people, excellent kitchen facilities and, best of all, masses of space for your hounds to get comfy.
The two-storey house was renovated in 2024 and boasts light-filled rooms as well as beautiful country views. It’s a reverse-level design, so once you’ve hung the leads in the hall, head straight up the stairs to the open-plan living space. Make the most of the kitchen, where you’ll find a slow cooker, air fryer and coffee machine, as well as plenty of room to put your mutts’ bowls on the floor. Dine at the adjacent table and then make the most of the Smart TV, perhaps snuggling up for movie night with your pups by your feet. Two of the four super-king-size bedrooms are on this level, while the other two are on the ground floor. All four boast en-suite shower rooms, Smart TVs and tea- and coffee-making facilities. As for outside space, you can slide open the doors of the living area and relax on the balcony, with views over the golf course, or enjoy the shared seating area and the golf club bar and restaurant, at which guest rates are available.
For a circular walk through the ancient Lincolnshire Limewoods, head 4 miles to Bardney and explore the wildlife-filled Southrey and Scotgrove Woods, as well as the remains of two medieval abbeys. For further outdoor adventures, the western edge of the Wolds can be reached in just 16.5 miles. Alternatively, check for ‘Explore with Paws’ dates and take your hounds to see Lincoln Castle in all its 11th-century glory.
