Set in the charming village of Kelsall, this cosy semi-detached cottage provides couples, small families and friends with a comfortable home away from home whilst exploring Cheshire and its borders. You’ll find three characterful pubs with bustling atmospheres in the village, all serving local produce and real ales. From your doorstep, stumble across public footpaths and cycleways aplenty, including the famous Sandstone Trail and Delamere Forest. Go Ape Delamare (3.5 miles) is a great day out for everyone, along with Crocky Trail (7 miles), Oulton Park Circuit (5 miles), Beeston Castle (9.5 miles), Tarvin Fishery (2.5 miles), and Chesire Oaks designer outlet village (12 miles). Only 9 miles from the historic city of Chester, you could spend the spend a day exploring the ancient Roman walls, cathedral and amphitheatre, visit Chester Zoo and spend a summer evening at the racecourse. Travelling further afield, the Mid-Cheshire Line runs through Delamere and takes you directly into Manchester or across the border to explore the delights of North Wales with ease.

Stepping into the front porch, you can kick off your boots and hang up your coat before entering into the spacious yet cosy living room. Tastefully decorated and full of character, the room boasts a traditional inglenook fireplace that takes centre stage in the room, housing a high-quality log burning and smoke-effect electric stove – you can enjoy evenings in front of the fire, without all the work! Take your pick from the comfortable sofa, or a stylish reading chair as you snuggle up for the evening to watch your favourite film on the Smart TV, a classic DVD or even a video game on the PlayStation Portable. Blankets have been provided for those colder winter nights, along with a basket of goodies just for the dogs. From the door in the living room, you'll enter the open-plan kitchen and dining area. When you're not enjoying the many eateries in the area, the kitchen has been fully equipped with everything you'll need to serve up breakfast, lunch and dinner – including a dishwasher so you can spend more time relaxing! Heading back into the living room and up the stairs, you'll find two bedrooms and a family bathroom. The original stone chimney breast is the main feature in the double bedroom, whilst the single bedroom offers lovely views down the long garden and woodland out back. The family bathroom has been renovated with a modern suite where you can relax in the bath after a long day exploring or wake yourself up with a refreshing morning shower ready for another day of adventure. Heading out into the enclosed private garden, there is ample space to sit and enjoy the outdoors.

Stepping out of the kitchen immediately onto the patio, you can follow a couple of steps up to another paved area where you can enjoy your morning coffee on the small table and chairs. Beyond that, there is a long stretch of lawn area perfect for young children and the dogs as they frolic in the evening sun.

Property was as illustrated in photos. It is clean and well presented. Appreciated the pre-set heating, which was welcome at this time of the year. Welcome tray also appreciated.
