Holiday in style at this eight-person hot tub cottage with rustic chic interiors. There’s a spiral staircase, a spacious open-plan living space, a pinball machine, and an eco-friendly energy system. Take your two beloved canine companions on an adventure in the Peak District National Park, explore the nearby countryside towns, and visit the vibrant city of Sheffield.

Enter the converted former pool house into the open-plan lounge/diner to find a mix of wooden, brick and metal interior decor which creates a rustic chic feel. To one side of the room is a wooden dining table with contemporary seating. Walk across the heated floor to the lounge area where two plush velvet sofas surround the Smart TV and contemporary electric fireplace. Evening entertainment can be enjoyed on the pinball machine. Continue into the sleek and bright kitchen, with farmhouse-style wooden worktops. Along the hallway are two king-size bedrooms – one with an en-suite. Also on the ground floor is a walk-in shower room and a bathroom. Climb the stairs to reach a twin room with an optional two additional single beds. The highlight of the property on the ground floor is a spa room with a six-person hot tub and comfortable seats. Outside, is a spacious paddock with a pergola, pizza oven and garden furniture.

During your stay in Thurlestone village, you could visit the local eateries or the historic High Bank Quarry and hike around the Scout Dike Reservoir (all within 1.5 miles). Pack a picnic and head into the Peak District National Park to find Slippery Stones Pool, Kings Tree Park, and Coach and Horses Rock Formation (all within 24 miles). Also within reach is Sheffield (16 miles) and the quaint town of Holmfirth (8 miles).

A fantastic place to stay! So beautifully finished, everything from the sofas, to the crockery, the lighting to the hair dryer is of great quality. We stayed as two families and had plenty of space, the children loved the single beds in the upstairs room and the adults loved the comfy beds in the downstairs rooms, perfect layout! We had a fantastic stay at this cottage - it was super clean, very comfortable and well equipped - plus Andrew and Lucy are excellent hosts. The welcome basket was a lovely touch as were the dog treats and having the facility outside to clean our dogs (it was a very wet week!) was especially helpful.
