We were very happy with our stay in Vale Cottage. It looked like it was a brand new barn conversion, no blemishes or anything out of place. Excellent views that stretched for miles across the County Durham countryside. We went to Durham for the day by Uber which was reasonably priced and prompt and also had a great walk to Waterhouses and the BlackRead more Horse pub, about an hour away. Hide
