Take a break at this characterful three-storey converted chapel which is ideally suited to couples and small families with a pup. Retaining much of its original charm, the property is bright, spacious, and homely with a pretty, little garden area for sunny afternoons. Situated close to the Wales Coast Path, you’ll have easy access to a wide range of invigorating walkies between Cardigan and Aberystwyth.
The ground floor is home to the kitchen area where you can fix up feasts and picnics to take on your travels, a room filled with natural light. Next door is the shower room and a convenient utility room for use during your stay. Upstairs, you’ll find the living room, a cosy room decorated in warm, earthy tones to help humans and hounds truly relax, including a comfortable leather sofa and a Smart TV. The first floor is also where you’ll find the first of the tastefully designed bedrooms. Completing the property is the second floor with the final bedroom boasting skylight windows with pretty views of the countryside beyond, as well as a rustic bathroom featuring both a shower and a bathtub for long evening soaks. At the back of the chapel is a compact yet charming garden area with a place to sit and breathe in the fresh air whilst your doggo stretches their legs in the mornings.
Let your dog lead the way to adventure in New Quay (3 miles) where you can hop aboard one of the marvellous pup-friendly boat trips where you’ll have the opportunity to spot dolphins, or spend a leisurely day relaxing on one of the two dog-friendly sandy shores in the seaside town. For a change of scenery, pay a visit to Coed y Foel, a picturesque place for a woodland walk, where your four-legged friend will be able to sniff out the best sticks to fetch on the moderately challenging route which is sure to tire active paws out.
