This quirky and colourful cottage that dates back to the 1800s is set in the small village of Buxworth, with a canal, the Peak District National Park, and plenty of traditional country pubs on its doorstep. Up to three guests and two canine companions can spend cosy evenings in front of the flame-effect fire, enjoy al fresco meals on the raised decking, and experience day trips filled with nature hikes and picnics.
Make yourself at home in the cosy open-plan lounge/diner with a wooden beamed ceiling and nature-themed decor. Surrounding the flame-effect electric fire are two sofas and a rug for your four-pawed friends to curl up on. Natural light and elegant low-hanging lights keep the dining table bright for special meals with your loved ones. Continue into the kitchen to find a sleek ‘U’-shaped fitted unit with marble-effect surface tops. From here, doors lead out to a conservatory utility room through the courtyard and up to the decked garden. Upstairs, is a family bathroom and two bedrooms – a double and a single. Outside is a small enclosed courtyard and a decked area with a bistro set up a flight of stone steps.
