Nestled in the historic coastal village of Trefin, this traditional Welsh cottage offers a cosy and welcoming base for your adventures in Pembrokeshire. Sleeping four guests in two bedrooms, this atmospheric abode is ideal for couples, families and friends travelling with their canine companions. Located on the north coast of St David’s Peninsula in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the entire pack is sure to have a ball scampering on beaches and walking dramatic coastal trails.
This cottage will delight from the moment you pull up outside. Kick off muddy shoes and wipe down damp dogs in the convenient porch, before heading into the main living spaces. With rustic stone walls, a wood burner and a selection of comfortable seating, the lounge/diner invites relaxation after long coastal walks, your pups snoozing by the fire. Next door, the fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to rustle up hearty breakfasts, delicious dinners and make picnic lunches. Dine inside or out, with a family table in the lounge and a table on the patio where you can watch for wildlife while eating, your pups playing on the lawn. When bedtime calls, a few steps lead up to two warm and welcoming bedrooms, a double and a twin. A traditional family bathroom completes the accommodation.
If you don’t feel like cooking, let your pups lead the way to the village pub, where you’ll find tasty treats for the entire pack. Have a ball exploring the coast, where small coves, shingle beaches, historic landmarks and access to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path are within 0.5 miles. Further afield, discover Wales’s Blue Lagoon (3.5 miles) and Britain’s smallest city, St David’s (8 miles).
