A party of seven and three pooches can enjoy together-time here in a choice of airy and luxurious living spaces, as well as long walks along the many scenic trails in this gorgeous area of Yorkshire.

This luxurious, grade II-listed cottage welcomes with an exceptionally furnished dining space with a wood burner, exposed beams and a statement tiled floor which continues through into the farmhouse kitchen. Chic and well-equipped, the kitchen offers all you need to whip up group feasts, including a range-style cooker and coffee pod machine. After dinner, move into the lounge, a charmingly furnished space where you can crash on the stylish sofas to watch the Smart TV, while the crackling wood burner warms toes and paws. Available on request, the lounge boasts a double sofa bed, perfect for any additional guests. When day turns to night, settle the dogs in a cosy corner before heading upstairs to find the four sumptuous bedrooms. On the first floor, choose from two inviting double rooms that benefit from the fantastic family bathroom on this floor with its underfloor heating. Upstairs on the second and final floor, the deluxe king-size room offers a freestanding bath within the room, and an en-suite shower room. Completing the house is a cosy single bedroom. Outside, the large and tranquil rear garden is entirely enclosed, making it a safe space for children and dogs. For memorable al fresco meals, gather at the patio space to use the BBQ that awaits, enjoy evening tipples on the lawn, or meet at the elevated decked area – a true suntrap in the summer.

Enjoy wild walks across the Marsden and Wessenden mooreland, sniff out the trail around Butterley Reservoir, or wander a mile into the village of Marsden where you’ll discover a wealth of industrial heritage, including the famous Standage Tunnel.
