This is a beautiful home which is very well equipped. It was perfect for both the young and older members of the family . We were also fortunate with the weather which allowed us to enjoy the walk to the lovely little town of Slaithwait.

We had a wonderful stay in the Easter holidays and there was plenty to do locally with lovely canal walks, nice pubs, restaurants and cafes nearby. The house had something for everyone and plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed the garden, hot tub, cinema room and chilling out just reading a book in the comfy seating areas! We genuinely couldnt be happier with this cottage. The property is huge, and the perfect place if you want to socialise as a large group in the kitchen/dining/bar area, but with plenty of separate spaces if you need to take yourself away for some peace and quiet. A lovely home which had everything we needed for a multi-family trip away. Great kitchen for cooking big meals and lots of space for kids to play. The surrounding area also had lots of easy walks straight from the front door. Our hosts were brilliant, very proactive in communicating which made sure we had a smooth stay.

Once youve found the property (which I must admit was a challenge as it was getting dark) its in a superb location. Slaithwaite has some excellent restaurants within walking distance, a craft brewery and some lovely walks. The house is very well equipped.
