This sleek and stylish, boutique-style couple’s bolthole in the Lake District National Park boasts a bright open-plan layout and benefits from a town centre location with plenty of amenities nearby. During your stay with your partner and four-legged friend you’ll be spoilt for choice with scenic dog walking trails around the expansive Windermere Lake, nearby nature reserves and National Trust attractions.

Head to the third level of this apartment block to reach the property. Inside you’ll find an elegant and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner decorated in tones of grey, black and yellow. Next to the window is a snug lounge with contemporary furnishings, a plush velvet sofa and a Smart TV with Sky. On the other side of the room is a fitted ‘L’-shaped kitchen with granite worktops, modern appliances and a breakfast bar on the peninsula. Settle into the chic double bedroom which continues the colour theme of yellow and grey and boasts a TV on the wall. Completing the interior is a tranquil grey shower room with a walk-in shower.

During your stay in Bowness-on-Windermere you’ll benefit from having a great selection of independent eateries and shops on your doorstep (within 0.5 miles) while also being surrounded by science walking trails around the lake. Soak up the scenic sights from Brant Fell Viewpoint (1.5 miles) or Orrest Head Viewpoint (2 miles). Explore Windermere by kayak or paddleboard and catch the ferry to Far Sawrey (2.5 miles) – here you can find the National Trust Claife Viewing Station and Near Sawrey, which is home to Beatrix Potter’s rural farmhouse (3 miles).
