This beautiful holiday home for friends and families sits within the spectacular grounds of Rydall Hall, right in the heart of the Lake District National Park. The property is surrounded by 30 acres of shared gardens and woodland, offering wonderful walking opportunities for you and the furballs. The property is also just 3 miles from the charming village of Grasmere.

The homely retreat has plush soft furnishings, traditional furniture, and a plethora of creature comforts. The cosy lounge is a delightful place to unwind after a morning of fell walking, with plump seating arranged around a TV and a wood burner for warming toes and paws. Come together for delicious family feasts in the spacious kitchen/diner, which has a large table to seat everyone, and all the equipment needed for a self-catering break. Just off the kitchen/diner is a utility room. Completing the ground floor is a snug, where you can spend a quiet afternoon reading one of the books from the collection. The four bedrooms are upstairs, and all boast far-reaching rural views. Two of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities, and there’s also a family bathroom. Outside, take a stroll through the shared grounds with your waggy-tailed friends, before returning to your private patio for a sundowner.

The picturesque market town of Ambleside is 2 miles away. The town boasts a good range of shops and eateries, as well as a museum and independent cinema. There are some gorgeous walks from the town to enjoy with the woofers, including the magnificent Stock Ghyll Force. A 1-mile stroll from the town also brings you to Waterhead Pier, where you and your four-pawed pals can board one of the Lake Windermere cruises.
