This welcoming holiday home sits proudly in the centre of Amble, within easy reach of its picturesque harbour, woof-friendly beach, and fabulous array of independent shops and eateries. The area is a haven for walkers and four-pawed explorers, with the dramatic Northumberland Coast Path passing through the town. At the end of the day, enjoy a family BBQ or an evening of fun in the games room.

An inviting hallway, with space for storing dog-walking attire, welcomes you into this bright and airy abode. From here, move through to the beautiful lounge, which has comfortable seating arranged around a Smart TV. On chilly evenings, fire up the wood burner to create a cosy dozing spot for your furry chums. Rustle up tasty dishes in the stylish kitchen, and come together for dinner parties in the formal dining room. This room also has a little reading nook, for curling up with your favourite book after a long walk with the hounds. Three of the bedrooms are upstairs, along with a family bathroom and a stylish shower room. The final bedroom is located on the second floor, enjoying views of the seafront. Outside, you’ll find a games room in the garage, with a pool table, table tennis, and darts.

Amble is a vibrant coastal town, with plenty to see and do. Enjoy walkies around the harbour, browsing the wooden retail pods, or head down to the sandy, paw-friendly beach for a picnic and a paddle in the sea. The town has an excellent array of woof-welcoming eateries, many showcasing local produce and seafood. Just 1 mile away is the quaint village of Warkworth, where you and the woofers can explore the castle and hermitage, or slightly further along the coast is the much-loved village of Bamburgh (25.5 miles).

  • Private, off-road parking for up to 3 cars opposite the property on the driveway. (The parking area is not attached to the property)
  • Please note, there is CCTV in operation, mainly covering the car parking area
  • Beach, shops, bars and restaurants less than half a mile
  • Central town location so some pedestrian and minor car traffic outside the cottage at most times, however, due to the thick walls of this old townhouse, you shouldn’t be disturbed.
  • This property will be decorated for Christmas
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 3 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £350 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £40. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

A very well-equipped & very comfortable cottage in a super location for shops. Co-op & Tesco close by and the excellent Amble Butcher only 75m round the corner, plus a very good baker. A few minutes walk to the harbour with Spurelli Ice Cream cafe, the Harbour shops and the excellent fish & chips of the Harbour Fish Bar. This is a really pretty cottage. Extremely well equipped kitchen and plenty of room for everyone to relax. Convenient for the shops and local cafes and restaurants. Lovely walks nearby and further afield.

We had a fabulous extended family holiday in the house. There was everything we needed and more. The kids loved the games room and all the beach equipment. The welcome hamper was a nice touch too. The location makes shops, pubs and beaches easily accessible. We left with many happy memories. Thank you.

We stayed here june for 3 nights as a family with 5 adults and 2 children. Couldnt ask for more in the house.. everything you could think of and more. The boys loved the play room which we chose the house for. Location was good for us, near shops, food and pubs. Absolutely immaculate. Would recommend for families and friends. Very comfortable, well-equipped house in a perfect spot for the harbour and shops. Handy green for walking the dog (although there is no yard). The games room was great!

Property was ideally located. You could not have asked for any more equipment in the property. Games room was great for the kids and again well equipped. Lovely dog walks near by and the Main Street just around the corner. Will definitely look at returning about the same time next year.

The property was an excellent choice for us, family of 4 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 teenagers. The games room was brilliant for the boys to have their own space. The kitchen equipment is excellent, there is nothing more that you could need, with ample amounts of crockery, cutlery, and if need cooking implements. We loved our time at the cottage, the location was brilliant and the facilities were excellent, the cottage had everything we needed and more. The games room was brilliant, but being in the garage its colder and we therefore didnt spend as much time in as expected - if wanting to take advantage of out of season take warm layers!
