Discover the perfect escape at this lovely cottage, set over two floors, where a rural style and contemporary comforts converge to create an inviting retreat. Upstairs are two beautifully appointed bedrooms with en-suite showers - one super-king-size and one double. Downstairs, you'll find an additional fully tiled wet room with a level access shower. The heart of the home is an open-plan kitchen-dining-living area. Relax in the plush seating while your hound sleeps at your feet and watch a family favourite on the Smart TV. The kitchen has everything you need to rustle up a picnic or a hearty evening meal. Outside, at the front, is a patio and furniture to bask in the sunshine. At the rear is a secluded terraced area, making an idyllic setting for breakfast. There are also outdoor games, a chalet-style children's playhouse, and a table-tennis table for competitive fun. The woodland around the cottage includes open water and a short access track to the road, so children must always be supervised.

The Lodge Forest Visitor Centre (7.5 miles) is your starting point for nature trails, cycling and walking and you sure to find an activity to set tails wagging. For history buffs, nearby Callander (7 miles) has plenty of stories of Scottish legend and folklore, which you can discover on the Callander Heritage Trail. Hikers can set out along the Rob Roy Way from Callander, giving your hound a real scent of adventure.
