Enter the cottage via the back door and find yourself in the spacious kitchen/diner. Rustle up hearty breakfasts to enjoy together as you plan the day ahead. Relax in the lounge which has a large picture window, offering fantastic views of the sea, or play the piano in the adjacent music room, which has an exposed stone wall. A separate snug provides a great spot for the children to play, or adults to get stuck into a good book, as the dogs warm up in front of the roaring wood burner. Completing the ground floor is a contemporary shower room. Upstairs are the three welcoming bedrooms, a super-king size, a king-size, and a twin bedroom, as well as a family bathroom. The real heart of the home is the superb, walled garden, which has scenic views towards the beach and sea, and two separate areas for relaxing and dining. Enjoy an al fresco meal as the dogs safely sniff about. A handy outdoor shower is also provided for cleaning up mucky paws.
Charmouth Beach (150 metres) is a glorious shoreline with plenty of safe swimming and a bustling promenade. Dogs are welcome on the main beach in the winter months, and there are also stretches which allow dogs all-year round. The village itself has old-world charm, a couple of places to eat, and some handy shops. Lead the way to adventure along the scenic South West Coast Path, which runs through the village, and winds along the rugged Jurassic Coast.
