This lovingly converted barn is set amongst the picturesque Devonshire countryside and welcomes four guests and two canine companions. With contemporary and characterful styling, two outdoor areas, and far-reaching views of the surrounding countryside, this is a delightful home-from-home.
The owners of this home have put tonnes of thought into converting the barn into a welcoming and dog-friendly holiday home. A light and bright entrance hall provides plenty of space for storing walking boots and dog leads. Head upstairs to the first floor of this reverse-level home and find an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which has a beautiful apex ceiling with exposed beams. A large picture window frames stunning views, beside the dining table. Cook up delicious meals in the kitchen, before curling up on the sofas and getting stuck into a movie or good book as the dogs snooze by your feet. A handy WC is situated on this floor, too. When you are ready to let sleeping dogs lie, choose from the two bedrooms to rest your head, a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, or a twin zip-and-link bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. A useful utility room is also provided if you need to clean up any dog towels while you are away. Outside, you will have two spaces to enjoy the views from. To the front, a patio with a bistro set and a hose for boot and dog-washing, and to the side, a fully enclosed garden with further outdoor seating and a BBQ.
Set in a rural spot, you can enjoy pure tranquillity amidst stunning views, and several walking routes and bridleways that lead directly from the barn. For amenities and a bite to eat, visit the market town of Tiverton (3 miles) which also has a pretty canal you can walk beside. The fabulous Exmoor National Park (12 miles) has a further range of walking routes, and some beautiful views.
