A truly spectacular dog-friendly property on the outskirts of Ripponden, this luxurious abode is a paradise for dogs and their humans, with numerous scenic walks and cycle routes right on your doorstep. The views over the West Yorkshire countryside are a real treat to wake up to each morning – and your furry friend will be in heaven rolling around on the huge lawn outside. With space for four guests over two bedrooms, it’s perfectly suited to a family unit or two dog-loving couples holidaying together.

This luxurious holiday home is designed for supreme comfort, with a magazine-worthy interior and large picture windows so you can make the most of the outstanding vistas. Apart from the shallow steps down to the lodge, everything is on the one level, starting with the open-plan living area, which is bathed in natural light from the large windows and double doors. The lounge is cosy and welcoming, with plush seating and a Smart TV for relaxing in the evenings. In the modern kitchen, cook up yummy meals to be enjoyed in the adjacent dining area. Need to deal with business during your stay? There’s a handy office space for that, with inspiring views that make up for you having to do work. The two cosy bedrooms share a stylish shower room. Outside, your pets can play happily while you sink into the hot tub on the deck, offering relaxation with a view. You can also dine outside amidst the stunning surroundings.

Set out on your two (or four) feet to discover the local area, which offers a pub and a shop within 1 mile. Or jump in the car to venture further afield, perhaps taking your furry friends for walks on Marsden Moor (5.5 miles) or heading to Howarth (14 miles) to sniff out Brontë Country. In the artsy and vibrant Hebden Bridge (9 miles), your pets are bound to receive a warm welcome in the numerous dog-friendly pubs and cafes.

The lambing shed is lovely, fantastic views and sitting in the hot tub at night looking over the valley with all the lights on, is a delight. The garden isn't secure and our puppy kept running off down the public footpath next property. But we had a lovely holiday here.

Amazing place to stay with great hosts. Great space to spend time and very comfortable beds and sofa! Everything has been chosen with care and it shows. We absolutely loved our stay at the Lambing Shed/Ripponden View. Claire, the owner, could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The accommodation was absolutely spotless and beautifully presented, and extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need, in fact it was the best equipped that I have ever stayed in. Gorgeous place, absolutely immaculate. Claire was fantastic, everything was available that you could need. The views are incredible and loads of good walks in the immediate vicinity. Would 100% return.
