Set tails wagging with a stay in mid-Cornwall, enjoying this pet-friendly lodge property on the outskirts of Porthtowan. Within effortless reach of the South West Coast Path and so many heritage coast hot spots, you’ll never fall short of walkies opportunities to keep you and your dog exercised and entertained each day. The cottage itself is a lodge-style retreat with great eco credentials, a place for four guests and one dog to call their own and perfect for family or friends. Let Rover roam in the grassy garden whilst you dine on the glass-covered terrace or take a dip in your own private hot tub.
Let Fido sniff out your property amongst vibrant greenery and towering trees, stepping up via stairs or up the decked pathway. Once inside, we’re sure you’ll see your four-pawed pal make a beeline for the cosiest spot by the wood burner, no doubt drifting off with dreams of endless walkies in mind. With your furry friend settled you’re free to rustle up a dish in the kitchen, sit down to eat either indoors or out and get comfy on the sofas with the Smart TV on. There’s an additional TV in the super-king-size bedroom, great for getting back into bed to catch up on the news after giving your pup their morning walk.
Take a stroll through Porthtowan and down to the beach (0.5 miles), stopping off to grab fish and chips (plus a sausage for your dog!) to take with you and sit on the sand. Porthtowan Beach does have doggy restrictions throughout the peak summer months, however, you’ll find a spot for ball games on the sand at Lushington Beach (0.5 miles) throughout peak season. From here, follow the coastal path up along a beautiful clifftop route, letting your furry friend sniff out the best scenery as you go.
