Entering this characterful barn conversion, the hallway has space for leaving coats and cleaning muddy paws before you head through to the snug and colourful lounge which has a Smart TV, comfortable seating and patio doors allowing light to stream in. The ground floor also offers a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen/diner as well as a handy wet room. Upstairs, there’s a refreshing bathroom and a choice of three delightful bedrooms: one king-size, a double and a single, all with low-sloping ceilings. Outside, the enchanting enclosed garden has plenty of space for canine guests to exercise. There’s a central patio with garden furniture alongside the hot tub which sits beneath a pergola and a Smart TV. There’s also plenty of off-road parking.
Conveniently close to the A6, the property lies to the south of the historic city of Lancaster (12 miles). To the east, the breathtaking Forest of Bowland National Landscape (6 miles) offers an array of spellbinding walks for you and your pets to experience. The popular seaside resort of Morecambe is to the north-west (13 miles) – the beaches have some pet restrictions, but there are dog-friendly beaches at nearby Hest Bank (11.5 miles) and Heysham (15 miles).

Great place to stay. Lovely interior and such a lovely owner (we only spoke briefly on the phone but they seemed very nice). Would definitely recommend if you want a chilled weekend away with friends or family.

Lovely cottage, but difficult to find in the dark off the main A6 road, some signage would help.

Lovely cottage. Directly on the A6 so easy access to the coast, the motorway, the Lakes etc. Spotlessly clean, very well equipped and lovely furnishings. Hot tub was brilliant and maintained twice daily. Owners are lovely, extremely helpful and easy to get hold of if you need them. Wallings Ice Cream farm is a must!

Beautiful holiday home, lovely welcome pack, very helpful owner. We loved the hot tub. Everything was well looked after, clean and to a really high standard. There has clearly been a lot of thought put into the design and equipping of the property. We would highly recommend a stay here, lots of really thoughtful little touches.

Really lovely, clean and modern cottage with an amazing hot tub and lots of space in the common areas downstairs. The host was so kind and helpful, it was a fantastic stay and wed definitely return!
