Let the pups go mutts at this luxury lodge in a stunning countryside location close to Fife’s coast with wonderful beaches and walks nearby, a large, enclosed garden to run around, and a fire to doze next to. There’s lots of space for four of you (plus two four-legged pals) and both bedrooms can be made up as twins or kings, ideal for friends and family. The lodge is all on one level and has a luxurious hot tub to relax in at the end of the day.
It’s stylish and well-equipped throughout for a really comfortable stay. Step into the stunning living space where a wall of windows brings the outside in, and patio doors take you outside. Cook up a feast in the kitchen and devour it together in the dining area or grab a quick bite first thing at the breakfast bar. Put a movie on the Smart TV and kick back on the plush sofas while the pups lie near the electric fire. Head to bed in the two spacious bedrooms (with Smart TVs), the main bedroom has an en-suite shower room and there’s also a beautiful bathroom and a handy utility area off the hall for muddy coats and boots. Relax together outside with a drink on the patio, get the BBQ going and eat al fresco, and revitalise in the hot tub enjoying the peaceful setting and wonderful views.
Head out on walks on Fife coastal path, which passes the other side of the golf course, towards St Andrews heading north and Boarhills if you go south. This is, of course, golfers’ paradise with many courses to choose from nearby, the clifftop Castle Course and St Andrew’s Bay Golf Course are on your doorstep, and the legendary Old Course is just 2 miles away.
