An elegant barn conversion enveloped by sweeping vistas of the Staffordshire countryside. This tastefully designed gem is perfect for family and friends seeking a relaxing adventure with up to three furry companions. Scoff a traditional pub lunch in one of Bishops Offley’s (1 mile) watering holes that welcomes four-pawed guests with a meaty treat. Back at base, throw open the magnificent French doors and let hounds sniff to their little heart’s content.

This red brick retreat features a beautifully converted interior with high-vaulted ceilings, chic neutral tones, and minimalist styling. Drive through the private gates and park up in the gravel driveway. Towel down your muddy hounds and ease out of boots in the hallway. Snoozy dogs can nap on the deep pile rug and warm chilly paws by the roaring wood burner. In warmer months, open the patio doors to let the summer breeze drift inside. Leisure-seekers can escape upstairs to the elegant mezzanine style snug to get competitive on the PlayStation 5. Portion out a couple of meaty meals then whip up a family favourite supper in the bright farmhouse kitchen. Get the fire roaring in the dining space, select then congregate at the bench-style wooden table for a leisurely evening soiree. When night falls, choose from three airy ground-floor bedrooms or ascend the staircase to discover a quirky loft-style double. Fido and pals can enjoy breakfast on the terrace while the humans grill on the stone BBQ.

Well-behaved hounds are sure to receive a good ol’ scratch behind the ear during a visit to one of the quaint local cafes in Eccleshall (3 miles). Scamper through woodland trails at Cannock Chase (22 miles) then indulge your pup in a feast for the senses as they snuffle through the fragrant gardens of Shugborough Hall (24 miles).

Lovely spacious holiday home with a very large garden, all the room we needed and more for 8 adults and 4 dogs Beautiful views of the countryside with the most amazing sunrise from the kitchen window. Good heating with radiators all round and log burner for added cosiness in the lounge.

I came to this accommodation with my husband, 2 kids and our friends (2 adults and 2 kids). We enjoyed the weekend so much, loved the accommodation and amenities. The surrounding grounds were great for the kids, but also the inside areas allowed us to have plenty of room. The bedrooms were lovely and we all commented on how comfy and clean the bedsRead more were. We would definitely return to this accommodation. Hide

Lovely location, good property with lots of room for 8 and comfy beds. Owner was very responsive both before and during booking (including a sunday night emergency!).
