Treat yourselves and your furry friend to a relaxing break at this cute rural getaway in a peaceful setting on a private lane on the edge of Rossendale; the romantic hideaway has bags of space for the three of you and makes the perfect base for exploring the area. After a fun day out, sit outside with a drink and nibbles in the sunshine, and take Fido out to explore the private woodland.

The cottage has stylish rustic furniture coupled with gorgeous original features, like the exposed beams and high vaulted ceiling. Go into the hall, leave your muddy boots, and go through to the kitchen/diner equipped everything you need to cook up a storm, and a dining table for romantic meals in. The stunning, contemporary bathroom is on the ground floor where you can have a quick shower or a long, leisurely soak. There’s underfloor heating throughout and an electric fire in the snug upstairs too, perfect for cosy evenings in playing games and watching TV before having a great night’s sleep in the plush king-size bed at the other end of the room. Outside, potter around the private woodland with your four-legged friend then soak up the sun on the patio area.

Head out for walkies on the footpath next to the garden, visit Edenfield Waterfall (1 mile away), hidden among the trees. Pop to the cafe, try out the pubs or grab some fish and chips in Edenfield less than 1 mile away. Take a train ride with Fido on the East Lancashire Railway from Irwell Vale station (2.5 miles), visit the wonderfully named Ramsbottom (2.5 miles) and Peel Monument tower (3 miles) on a hill above the town, it’s a bit of a climb but worth it for the views.

Lovely place to stay, the cottage is perfect with everything you could need for your stay, plenty of walking trails and activities to do around and lots of nice little towns a villages close by to visit. The cottage is a short walk to the East Lancashire Railway that run a steam train service which is reasonably priced to ride on. Will be back agaiRead moren for sure. Hide

I can't praise this accommodation enough! It's in a tranquil location, superbly furnished to a extremely high standard,thoughtfully filled with everything you could possibly need to make your stay perfect. The cleanliness is of the highest standard I have ever seen with a holiday let. We loved the view of the lovely garden and of the passing steam Read moretrains from the kitchen window. Evening walks just before dusk were extra special due to the deer we spotted near the woods. definitely stop again! Hide

The most idyllic, tranquil luxuriously comfortable place to stay. The loft itself is sumptuous and the area is divine. The walks are perfect the owners private woodland an oasis of natural beauty. From the uninterrupted night sky to the chorus of birdsong at sunrise this a place not to be missed!

The loft was the perfect stay for us and the dog. The host was very friendly and couldnt have done anything more for us. W We have an anxious rescue dog and we were offered use of their secure field to let her have a run around. The loft itself was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to relax. We had a lovely peaceful stay. Noelle and Paul were fabulous hosts from showing into the private woodland on the first morning to all the delicious treats left for us when we arrived. The loft was spotless, warm, comfortable and set in beautiful surroundings, we even saw the steam train going past. A beautiful little cottage nestled in Rossendale countryside. The owners Noelle and Paul who live next door were wonderfully welcoming, and always on hand for anything we may of needed. Not that we needed anything more as everything was provided. We were greeted with scones and afternoon tea with wine, chocolates and lots of goodies. a lovely gestuRead morere I might add.
