Discover this hidden gem in the heart of Leyburn, a bustling market town in Wensleydale known as the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales National Park. With a cosy crackling wood burner and private courtyard garden, this traditional stone-built cottage is ready to receive couples or a family alongside one or two canine companions at any time of the year.

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a spacious hallway, setting the tone for the tasteful and stylish interior. Enter the fully equipped kitchen featuring modern appliances and a convenient breakfast bar. The kitchen seamlessly flows into the inviting lounge area, where a wood burner beckons furry friends to snooze in its glow. A Smart TV is there for entertainment, while a built-in desk creates a handy workspace for those needing to stay connected. Completing the ground floor is a shower room. Head upstairs to discover two bedrooms. The beautiful king-size room boasts plush furnishings, while the twin zip-and-link room offers flexibility. Another bathroom with a bath tub promises a relaxing soak at the end of the day. Outside, a private courtyard beckons, serving as a sun-soaked spot where you and your four-legged friends can bask in the Yorkshire sunshine.

Leyburn provides all the essentials right on your doorstep, including independent grocery shops, dog-friendly country pubs, bakeries, and delightful tearooms. On Fridays, join the locals in the main square to savour the finest regional produce at the farmers' market. Set out to explore the area on foot, with various routes departing from the town centre in all directions towards tail-wagging adventures. Don’t miss Leyburn Shawl, a limestone prominence offering expansive views across the picturesque hills of Wensleydale. For steam train enthusiasts, a ride on the heritage Wensleydale Railway (400 metres) offers both humans and hounds a journey back in time through the spectacular Yorkshire countryside.

A fabulous cottage in the centre if Leyburn has everything you need for an enjoyable stay so well equipped and of a really high standard. Lovely touches of the dog bed bowls and blanket and a welcome hamper for the humans. Very private and quiet but only around the corner from the Market Place I would thoroughly recommend it

Beautiful cottage!! We had a fantastic stay at Goose Cottage. It was beautifully decorated warm and cosy. The little touches for our dog were lovely with a bed and towel. Its secluded court yard is perfect and safe parking. The location was perfect with the local square round the corner and walks on your doorstep. We would absolutely stay again!!

Superbly equipped and decorated cottage in an excellent location with safe parking. We spent an enjoyable Christmas week and although the weather was wet and windy to say the least the cottage was warm and cosy and we were able to cook some lovely meals with local produce in the excellently equipped kitchen.
