Return from walks beside the canal and through the Lincolnshire countryside to relax with Rover at this single-storey retreat. Situated in Saxilby, 7 miles from the city of Lincoln, close to the water, it sleeps four guests, as well as their paw-some holiday companion. With two bedrooms, the barn-style cottage nestles in lawned gardens, where Rover can bound and play, and where you can rinse his muddy paws after your exhilarating trips out together.

Enter the airy holiday home to find it offers open-plan living space, with plenty of room for you and Rover to relax in comfort. At the heart of the property is its lounge/diner, where you can light the wood burner after autumn and winter adventures or pull open the patio doors on summer days. Watch TV in here, play games and give Rover the attention he deserves on his special holiday. Whip up homecooked meals in the adjacent kitchen and feed your precious pup here too. Dine at the table yourselves before spending another pleasant evening in your dog-friendly home from home together. Bid your chum goodnight before retiring to either the double or the twin bedroom. There is a family shower room for all guests to use. Make the most of the garden space at the property by taking Rover outside whenever it is warm enough. Throw a ball for him on the grass and bask in the sunshine together.

Spend an afternoon at Whisby Nature Park, 7 miles away, where you can follow trails round the lakes and through woodland and let Rover run free beside Thorpe Lake. Here there is a beach where he can paddle. Plan a day out to the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, 24 miles away, with its many magnificent footpaths and dog-friendly beauty spots to enjoy.

Just spent 3 nights in this delightful cottage. Very well equipped and clean. Had everything we needed. Super secure garden for our two dogs. The owners were lovely and very helpful. Just under a mile walk to two pubs - we preferred the Anglers but they do not do food and were very busy. What lovely people there are in Saxilby! Literally everyone tRead morehat passed us said hello and smiled! Super fish and chip shop and Co-Op nearby. A great find and would highly recommend. Thank you Pat. Hide

We loved our stay at the cottage, the road down was a bit rough in places, but this is nothing to do with the lovely friendly people who rented it to us. Very dog friendly, even a doggie shower, was a great location for visiting Lincoln, half hourly buses straight to the city. Local pub, fish and chip shop and other local amenities included a co-opRead more, spar, and a chemist. Good break Hide

We thought the cottage was very well equipped and comfortable. Somewhere we are confident about recommending to others and the sort of cottage to which we could consider returning.
