Surrounded by natural beauty, this dreamy Worcestershire cottage offers a welcoming retreat for outdoor enthusiasts of both the human and canine kind. It’s in Eckington, a picturesque village with a shop, a dog-friendly pub (both 0.5 miles) and a friendly community atmosphere – head pats for your furry companions are pretty much guaranteed here! The wonderful Cotswolds AONB, aka doggie paradise for its excellent wild terrain, is just 7.5 miles away. This traditional holiday home has space for up to six guests and two pets, making it excellent for a family of nature lovers or a group of friends.

This detached property is located on a peaceful lane among some converted barns, creating a pastoral and tranquil setting. You’ll enter into the spacious conservatory, a lovely space that serves as a dining room comfortably seating eight. There are fantastic views over the garden and surrounding countryside from here – ideal for watching children and pets run around happily outside. The modern, fully-equipped kitchen combines traditional charm with contemporary convenience, while the cosy lounge feels rustic and relaxing. On chilly nights, spark up the wood burner and watch the pets nod off in blissful warmth as you relax on the sofa, reading or watching an episode of your favourite series on the Smart TV. The garden is a true paradise for children and dogs to roam freely, with play equipment for the youngsters and ample space for doggie zoomies. Unwind with a cool drink, fire up the charcoal BBQ for a smoky feast or simply bask in the sun. In the undercover courtyard area, you’ll also have shared access to a ping-pong table.

There’s so much nature to absorb do in the surrounding area. Walk just 300 metres to reach the River Avon for lovely walks along the water. You can also take the pets on a riverboat cruise or, to go at your own pace, hire a canoe. For paw-inspiring views, allow the pets to lead you on the waymarked trails up to Bredon Hill (4 miles). The pretty village of Broadway, often referred to as the ‘jewel of the Cotswolds’, is 14 miles away.

Enjoyable stay at Oak Tree Cottage. Large secure garden allowed the dogs to roam free and explore. Scenic view from the cottage and an easy 10 minute walk into Eckington and it's 2 nice pubs and village shop.

Everything we needed in the cottage and garden. Beds were very comfortable as was the lounge. It was important that the garden was completely enclosed so the dogs were safe.

Excellent stay for 3 adult couples. The selling point of this house was the three proper double beds for ourselves and our adult children with their married spouses. However the landlords gave excellent service bringing us a bag of logs for the stunning open fire at 8pm on the Friday night, and checking unobtrusively if all was ok.
