Stay at this contemporary home in the pretty Hope Valley for a restful break with your family, friends and pet. It’s in the sweet village of Bradwell, with a dog-friendly pub, shops and a chip shop within 0.5 miles. The property is located deep in the beating heart of the Peak District National Park, so offers second-to-none walking and hiking opportunities – be music to the floppy ears of your energetic canine! With three bedrooms accommodating up to six guests, this delightful home welcomes small groups and one doggie chum.

The central space of this beautifully decorated home is the open-plan living area, where your group can gather to enjoy meals, games and entertainment on the Smart TV. There’s rug space for your pet to laze on as you relax with a book on the corner sofa. The well-equipped kitchen and dining area are perfect for preparing and enjoying family dinners together. Upstairs, there's a handy snug with a desk, a screen for laptop connection, a PlayStation 3 and another Smart TV. Your pet will adore the enclosed rear garden, where she can let off some steam while you enjoy the outdoor dining area. Leading off from the garden, there’s a games room equipped with table football and air hockey for hours of fun. As you relax into your temporary home, be sure to take a moment to appreciate the tasteful decorative touches added by the owners, including artwork in all the bedrooms.

There are several excellent walking routes starting from the village, with all lengths and fitnesses catered for. The River Derwent path is around 9 miles long, while the shorter Bradwell Edge loop is only 3 miles of walking. Nearby, you can also explore the wonderful landscapes of Castleton (3 miles), home to Treak Cliff Cavern, Speedwell Cavern and Peak Cavern. Other locations worth visiting are the spa town of Buxton (13.5 miles) and Bakewell (10 miles), a market town famous for its delicious pudding.

We enjoyed a lovely week at Ottilie. The house is beautiful and has everything you need for you stay. A well equipt kitchen, fully enclosed garden and spacious bedrooms with plenty of storage. The games room and snug room were a great edition, as well as the games cupboard too in the living area. Loads of lovely walks from the property and the villRead moreage loaction is beautiful. A fish and chip shop and lovely pub that serve great food and shops all within a 5 minuets walk of the property. Hide

A beautiful cottage in a great location- many exhilarating walks nearby. It has everything that could possibly be needed for a holiday and more. Highly recommended.

This is a very welcoming and comfortable property, fully kitted out with everything you would need. It is in a wonderful location for walking, biking and touring the locality. The games room was good fun. Having a Kia Niro EV, we found the facility for charging at the property really useful.
