The incredible view of St Michael’s Mount is just one of the features that make this incredible dog-friendly property a real holiday home to remember. Well suited to getaways with the entire pack, this wonderful country cottage hosts six guests and two dogs with ample space for relaxing both indoors and out. Both children and pets will adore the sprawling grassy gardens in the summer months, enjoying ball games and running around whilst the adults sit with a coffee or a sundowner. As for days out, you’ll never fall short of waymarked pathways and walkies routes to explore in the Cornish countryside and along the awe-inspiring South Cornwall coast.

Follow country roads to find this remote rural property where quiet and privacy are assured. On arrival, you may want to stop off in the ground floor shower room to give mucky paws and wet fur a good wipe-down. Pets can then slink off to find the cosiest spot in the house for a snooze, perhaps in front of the wood burner in the lounge or in the sun-dappled conservatory. Delicious dinners are to be prepared in the kitchen/diner and enjoyed either in here or out in the garden – don’t forget to save a scrap or two for your furry friends! When it’s time for bed, head upstairs to find three bedrooms alongside a family bathroom on the first floor.

A selection of vibrant beauty spots can be found just a tennis ball’s throw away, so pop Rover on their lead and head out to explore the Chysauster Ancient Village (4 miles), the Bakers Pit Nature Reserve (3 miles) or Trevaylor Woods (4 miles). Nearby Penzance is a vibrant seaside town (4 miles) with a harbour offering pet-friendly boat trips departing regularly. Those who prefer to stick to dry land can head to Long Rock Beach (2.5 miles) to let your pet run free on the sand.

A fantastic property with sensational views and very private garden, which is very secure for dogs to run around in without supervision. The house is well equipped, warm, comfortable and very homely - we enjoyed everything about the place and felt immediately at home! Local shop for essentials and lots of supermarkets and eating establishments a shRead moreort drive away. The property is also very well placed for day trips in any direction. We loved our time at St Michaels and will definitely be back! Hide

We loved huge house and big garden where our dog and children had lots of fun even when weather wasnt so great. Really nice place to stay, good location, access to garage, free Wi-Fi with free Netflix was very useful at bad weather. Quiet place where you can relax and charge your batteries. Very close to the places that are worth visiting. Kitchen Read moreis really good equipped. Our children had a great time there. We hope to visit next year and would recommend to anyone. Hide
