Escape in style with your favourite person to this charming single-storey wooden cabin sitting on a complex of properties just outside Solva in Pembrokeshire’s beautiful Coastal National Park. Sleeping two people in one bedroom and welcoming two canine companions, this romantic bolthole is perfect for couples seeking a tranquil retreat in rural West Wales. Take your pups for walkies around the quaint fishing village of Solva during the day, and in the evening, come home to relax with a glass of wine on the cabin’s large terrace.
Step inside and you’ll be welcomed by the delightful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with picture windows overlooking a pretty paddock and doors that open out onto the large, inviting terrace. Slip onto the sofa and make yourself at home before heading to the contemporary kitchen area to whip up a romantic meal for two, which you can enjoy with your loved one at dining table. Alternatively, head out to the south-facing terrace, fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco. After dinner, stay in the garden to watch the stars come out, or head inside to the lounge to relax in front of the wood burner while your pups snooze at your feet. At the end of the day, retire to your king-size bedroom to dream of the next day's adventure.
You and your pups will love going for long walkies along the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast Path (4 miles). Alternatively, take your dogs to Newgale Beach (6 miles), where they can run free. Tails are sure to wag when they’re splashing around in the water. Or head to St Davids (4.5 miles), which is Britain’s smallest city. From there you can take your pups on a boat trip – keep your eyes peeled for puffins, dolphins and seals.
