This lovely house, set over two levels, situated in the coastal town of Bridlington is ideal for families and friends looking for a relaxing beach holiday in East Riding. Bridlington's expansive sandy shores provide the perfect setting for sunbathing, building sandcastles, and letting your dog go mutts on the beach – although check the seasonal dog restrictions – alternatively, head to Fraisthorpe Beach (8 miles), where there are no restrictions for your pup and great conditions for kite surfing.

As you enter this welcoming property, you'll find yourself in the contemporary kitchen featuring all the appliances needed to cook up a storm. The house has a home-from-home feel and an inviting living area where you can sit back and relax in comfort while you catch up on box sets or movies on the Smart TV. Your pup will be happy to join you, and there are plenty of spots to snooze. Head upstairs, and you'll find two tastefully furnished bedrooms - a double and a twin. Adjacent to the bedrooms is a family bathroom. Outside is a pleasant, enclosed garden area, allowing your canine companion to have a place to explore while you sit back, relax, and enjoy the views of the surrounding fields.

For a walk along spectacular cliffs, head to Flamborough Outer Headland Nature Reserve (6.5 miles) and look out for the wildlife and sealife in the area while you wind your way to the lighthouse. Sewerby Hall and Gardens (4 miles) offer a glimpse into the area's past with its grand Georgian mansion. Your pup is welcome to lead the way in the 50 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. Another great choice is the seaside town of Filey (11.5 miles), where you and your hound can walk along the beach and then head out to Filey Brigg Country Park to let them run and climb!

We loved our stay at Bumblebee cottage. It is well equipped and beautifully decorated and furnished to create a very cozy feel. The kitchen is very well equipped and the rooms spacious. It's an ideal location for visiting popular sites along the East Coast without being in a busy area. There's a lovely enclosed garden with nice countryside views alRead morethough it does back onto a road. This didn't bother us too much and we were able to enjoy meals in the sunshine.
