The lounge-come-kitchen/diner is handsome with skylights, ornate windows and original beams, simply a marvellous place to spend the evening relaxing with man’s best friend loyally curled up by your side. There’s even a wood burner for creating the cosiest ambience throughout cold weather stays.
Wonderfully well-connected, discover the Shropshire Hills AONB (11.5 miles), the Brecon Beacons National Park (18 miles) and the Wye Valley AONB (25 miles) just a drive away. For walkies you won’t quickly forget, discover the Offa’s Dyke Path, an epic waymarked route that you can join from Kington (6.5 miles). Weaving along the England-Wales border countryside, there’ll be an endless adventure to sniff out along this mighty national trail. If you prefer to stay close to home, however, the beautiful Westonbury Mill Water Garden (3 miles) and Hergest Croft Gardens (8 miles) are both canine-compatible and extremely appealing.
