Escape to the west Cornish coast for a tranquil getaway filled with lazy beach days, relaxing riverside strolls and meals out at local seafood restaurants. This charming cottage makes for a memorable break with the mighty historic viaduct striding past the garden in prime view. Inside is a bright and homely open-plan living area which is ideal for socialising with your small, human and four-legged family.
Step inside and make yourself at home in the spacious, neutral-toned open-plan lounge/diner which has plenty of natural light streaming in through the large windows and glass patio doors. Beneath hanging contemporary lighting is a wooden dining table with seating for all of your guests to enjoy a homemade meal together. Around the wood burner are two plump sofas, where you can enjoy a movie on the SmartTV. Looking out onto the garden are two armchairs. Continue into the farmhouse-style kitchen which has a ‘U’-shaped fitted unit, a kitchen island and glossy cabinets. Upstairs is a family bathroom plus two bedrooms – a super king-size and a twin room (can also be made in a super king bed). Outside is an enclosed garden with seating and a BBQ.
During your stay in the historic village of Angarrack, start your day with a stroll through the narrow lanes past quaint stone cottages to discover a traditional local pub which is canine-welcoming plus a supermarket (0.5 miles). The neighbouring port town of Hayle (2 miles) sits on the edge of a river and is an excellent place to visit for a relaxing walk, picking up some pastries at the bakeries, dining out at a seafood restaurant and browsing the independent shops. Take Fido for a splash at The Towans Beach (2 miles), part of the UK's 'Most magnificent beach' as recently voted in The Times! Join the South West Coast Path (as depicted in 'The Salt Path' by Raynor Winn) at Hayle to reach National Trust Godrevy nature reserve and Godrevy Point (4.5 miles) where you can view the seals in a protected bay.
