The south-facing living/dining room boasts exposed beams, stone walls, and a magnificent inglenook fireplace with a wood burner, creating a cosy atmosphere for you and your hound to unwind. The hallway leads to a well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances and a charming antique pine cabinet and dresser. Enjoy home-cooked meals at the dining room table or dine outside in the garden on sunny days. The ground floor is completed with a convenient shower room. When it's time to rest, head upstairs to the tranquil king-size bedroom finished with natural plaster walls, providing a serene environment for a peaceful night's sleep. The cottage was cosy, comfortable, clean, fully equipped in everyway, for a short or long stay. Everything had been thought of, even a beautifully lit Christmas tree that we truly appreciated. The log burner warms the space, adds to a cosy night in. We cooked meals and found every bit of kitchen ware needed. My husband, dog and I couldn't have beenRead more happier with this cottage we chose. Perfect for visiting Durham, Barnard Castle and Seaham coast. A lovely pub in the village too. 100% loved it.
