Perfect for friends getting together or large family groups, this spacious cottage has a hot tub and an extensive garden where pups and children can play in the fresh air. Close to Amroth, Saundersfoot and Tenby, it’s a great base for games of fetch on the beach and trying out a variety of dog-friendly pubs and eateries.
The quirky character of this lovely property (including some small internal steps) is immediately evident as you walk through the door, and in the large lounge, you’ll find a wood burner set into a stone fireplace, surrounded by comfortable sofas. It’s an appealing space in which to relax together, though if you’d rather have some quiet time alone, there’s also a sweet sunroom and a reading room/office. In the enormous kitchen, there’s plenty of space for your hounds’ bowls and beds, and the three of you can enjoy breakfast or a snack at the small table, while everyone can gather around the more formal dining table adjacent to the lounge. When bedtime beckons, take the stairs to the first floor where you’ll find four pretty bedrooms – a king-size with an en-suite shower room, a double, a twin and a bunk bedroom. The latter three rooms share a family bathroom. For a soak after a day out adventuring, sink into the hot tub, or enjoy a meal or a drink in the sun-trap garden while your canine companions romp on the lawn.
The cottage is less than 2 miles from the peaceful village of Amroth, where there’s a mile-long pebble beach that welcomes hounds all year round on its eastern section. The seaside resorts of Saundersfoot and Tenby are 5 miles and 10 miles respectively, both boasting fabulous beaches and a variety of pubs, cafes and restaurants.
