Watch your pup unwind on the grass at this holiday home in Tansley, Derbyshire, while you bubble in the hot tub. Sleeping eight guests, the four-bedroom, pup-friendly abode is ideal for a group break or celebration. Situated 1 mile from Matlock and 3 miles from the Peak District National Park, it is in an exceptional location for anyone seeking great dog walks as well as a sumptuous retreat.

Make your way into the modern house with your chum wagging his tail behind you. Hang his lead in the hall, then stroll into the kitchen/diner to unpack any provisions you have bought. Feed him some delicious Derbyshire fresh cuts then start chopping and sizzling for your own feast. When it is ready, call your party through to the table, opening the door on to the garden on balmy evenings. Congregate in the lounge, where your paw-some pal can also join in the fun, to play games, watch the Smart TV and discuss the dog-friendly activities of the following day. There is also a WC and utility room downstairs. Settle your contented canine for the night, then make your way up to the first floor to lay your own head in either of the two double bedrooms, the super-king-size, or the king-size with zip-and-link beds that can also be made up as twins by prior arrangement. There is a family bathroom and an en-suite shower room at this level too. While away warm afternoons in the lawned garden with your happy hound close by. Cook supper on the BBQ and keep each other company as the sun sets.

Tire furry feet with a walk of just 1 mile to see picturesque Lumsdale Waterfall. Stanton Moor and the Nine Ladies Stone Circle, 9 miles away, are also scenic locations that are dog friendly.

The house was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and very well appointed. We were very pleased with it and would stay again. It is located in a very nice village, not far from Matlock.

Lovely house on a new quiet little estate with a nice walk past a little pond to a large field where dogs can walk and just a little further on a childrens play park. The Gate In pub friendly, very nice sitting inside or outside and really good food. Recommended. Beds were very comfy and the house very clean with lovely welcome pack left for us. GaRead morerden is small but fully enclosed so very safe for dogs and children. Hide

Would highly recommend this lovely holiday home, has everything you need & more ! A lovely basket of goodies greeted us upon arrival which was much appreciated. A great location, lots of lovely walks nearby, a pub a few minutes walk away with fantastic food & a good atmosphere.

An immaculate property with everything you could possibly need for a great holiday. The home is spacious, luxurious and a real home from home. Everything from furnishings to towels and bedding are top quality. The Gate Inn is a short walk away and the food and atmosphere are great
