In the heart of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, this handsome period townhouse has so much to offer, whether for a family get-together or a holiday with friends. Cook a pizza in the garden, enjoy a movie in the cinema room, play table football or simply sit back and relish the countryside views.
The beautifully appointed kitchen is undoubtedly the heart of this holiday home, with a Smart TV, rocking chair and window seat at one end of the room, and a breakfast table (with superb views) at the other. Your canine companions will go mutts for the comfy pet bed in the corner, too. Eat in the dining room, which has a wood burner and club chairs, and then chill out either in front of the Smart TV in the lounge or head downstairs to the cinema room, with its Smart TV, games table, bar area and table football. Back on the ground floor you’ll find a useful shower room and WC, while on the first floor there’s a lovely family bathroom, shared by three bedrooms: a super-king-size, a double and a twin. Up on the second floor the king-size master suite has a beautiful en-suite bathroom. The patio offers both a wood-burning pizza oven and a BBQ, with a dining table as well as outdoor furniture for relaxing. For sunsets and more mountain views, there’s also an open-aspect garden across from the property.
The small village of Defynnog is famous for its huge yew tree, thought to be one of the oldest in Europe, and the International Rarebit Centre - definitely worth a try, and dog friendly, too. In Sennybridge, 1.5 miles, you’ll find a shop and several pubs, while the National Showcaves Centre for Wales is 9.5 miles and ‘waterfall country’ at Ystradfellte is 13 miles.
