Simply teeming with one-of-a-kind charm and cosy cottage elements, this fabulous New Forest cottage provides a splendid place for a top dog getaway. With plenty of features that’ll set any tail wagging, the cottage has been thoughtfully laid out to host four guests (plus one small child) and your canine companion. With snuggly interiors and a large garden, set to lawn and fully enclosed, this property is a true pet-friendly location for your next family retreat. Spend time exploring the New Forest scenery with tennis balls in tow, sniffing out the local scenery and the coastal towns of Southampton (15 miles) and Bournemouth (31 miles).

Bright bolts of colour and unique interiors accompany traditional cottage features in this truly charming property. The kitchen is the hub of the house, a great spot for positioning your pet’s bowl to keep them distracted as you prepare delicious dinners. From here, wander into the lounge where you’ll find a flame-effect gas stove to create the cosiest atmosphere on an evening. As Rover curls up and dreams of walkies just passed, you can collapse into the sofa, put your feet up and switch on the TV. Leave your sleeping dog to rest here as you retire, finding one bedroom downstairs and two upstairs.

Wander the short distance into the village of Beaulieu (1.5 miles) and take a gentle stroll along the river or wander the grounds of the abbey. The wider National Park is home to plenty more canine-compatible destinations, including the Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary (11.5 miles), Exbury Gardens (5 miles) and the coastal Hurst Castle (11 miles). Dog lovers come together in droves to celebrate their four-pawed pals in nearby Romsey (14 miles), home of the annual Dogstival!
