Have a ball with your canine companions at this stylish apartment above a charming 16th century inn in Hartland on the North Devon coast close to canine-friendly beaches, stunning walks, and heaps of attractions. It’s family-friendly and ideal for friends or a couple wanting extra space and makes a great base for exploring the area.

The apartment is self-contained with everything you need for a comfy and relaxing stay. Go up the external steps and iron staircase into the open-plan kitchen/diner where you can cook tasty meals, enjoy them together at the dining table, then relax in front of the Smart TV and watch your favourite show. At bedtime, head through to the bedrooms, a bright and light double with the bonus of extra seating with a comfy sofa and window seat, and a second stylish double with its own window seat where you watch the world go by, as well as the family bathroom. For fresh air, you’re welcome to sit on the pub’s sun terrace with a good book any time of day.

Pop downstairs to the canine-friendly bar for a drink, have a bite to eat or a cream tea then stay and enjoy some live music knowing it’s not far to get home! Head out for a coastal walk to discover the magical beaches and coves along the coast, Hartland Point (3.5 miles) and quay (2.5 miles) are worth visiting. Explore Hartland Abbey (1.5 miles) and gardens, where pups are welcome on a lead.
