Offering breathtaking views across the tranquil waters of Loch Goil, this fantastic property dates back to the 19th century and has been sympathetically updated to make a memorable holiday retreat for larger families and groups of friends. With ample space for nine guests, the house also has room for a pair of four-legged friends to join you as you explore a glorious part of the Scottish Highlands. Set in the magnificent Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, this stunning lochside residence lies between two waterfalls and features a welcoming wood burner, window seats, a piano and big bay windows overlooking the loch.
A bridge leads past the first waterfall and to the entrance of this impressive Scottish country house. A side entrance leads via a generous boot and utility room into the light-filled kitchen, perfect for preparing a family feast which you can enjoy in the handsome dining room overlooking the loch. Two cosy lounges and a cheerful conservatory provide space for everyone to relax, watch a movie, read a book or chat about the day as you take in the stunning views. Upstairs, there are two family bathrooms and five spacious bedrooms: a twin, a single, a bunk bedroom and two king-size rooms overlooking the water. Outside, the private south-facing gardens have plenty of space for your pets to run and explore, with a seating area and BBQ by the shore of the loch, so you can sit back and watch the seals or spend an evening stargazing.
The beautiful waters of Loch Goil are perfect for kayaking and canoeing, while dogs and their owners can follow the Cowal Way, the Donich Loop or the Ardgartan Loop. The village of Lochgoilhead is less than a mile away, and the whole area offers stunning forests and mountains to explore.
