Hornsea Beach is 50 metres away - with restrictions for your pup between May to September - but Hornsea South Beach (0.5 miles) lets your dog go mutts all year. The vibrant seaside town of Hornsea (0.5 miles) offers a selection of small, independent shops to browse. Nearby Hornsea Mere (2 miles) is well worth a visit and offers sailing, fishing, and boat trips.

Take the outside steps to this bright and spacious second-floor property. Enter the hall and a staircase leads up to the open-plan living area. With its white walls and coastal theme, this room features comfortable leather seating and a cosy wood burner effect electric fire, perfect for relaxing and watching the TV. Your canine companion will love having a snooze at your feet. The contemporary kitchen has all the appliances you need to cook up a family favourite, and you can dine looking out of the large bay window. There are two bedrooms - a double and a twin - and a bathroom completes the offer of this lovely apartment. Although there is no outside space, there are plenty of walks along the promenade or around the Mere.

Many other beautiful coastal towns are within easy reach, such as Bridlington (13 miles), where you can let your hound sniff out adventures on the South Beach. And two must-see attractions are the RSPB reserve at Bempton and Flamborough Head (20 miles). There is also the stately home of Burton Constable (10 miles), which offers a full calendar of events throughout the summer and welcomes your pup going so far as to provide them with their own dining room!

The loft apartment is very spacious whilst remaining cozy, we had two young children and had plenty of space for them to run around. The host was lovely and the whole process was so easy to book, and much cheaper than airbnb!
