A wonderful retreat for a group of four and two of your four-legged family members. Close to the dog-friendly shores of Appley Beach and boasting a safe and enclosed patio garden, this charming property is a fabulous spot for your next trip to the Isle of Wight.

This charming bungalow is bright and airy throughout with plenty of space to socialise together as a family or to spend time relaxing. Enter into the lounge and place the dog’s beds on the floor so they can curl up and get some shuteye. Cosy up on the sofas and watch a film on the Smart TV after a busy day exploring the coastline. Though the kitchen is compact, it has everything you need to prepare tasty dinners, and a conservatory accessed via one of the bedrooms contains a dining table. Completing the accommodation is a double bedroom, a bunk bedroom and a family shower room. Outside via the conservatory is a pretty, enclosed patio area adorned with fairy lights, a seating area, and a BBQ, great for al fresco wining and dining.

Situated in a quiet spot in the countryside, you will be surrounded by superb views and within easy reach of beaches and tourist attractions. Enjoy the bustling town of Ryde (2 miles) which has a range of places to eat, drink, and shop, as well as a beautiful, sandy beach that welcomes dogs. Lead the way to adventure along the Isle of Wight Coast Path which passes through Ryde or spend a family day out on the Isle of Wight Steam Railway (3.5 miles).

The welcome pack and communication was very good. The property was clean and well maintained with adequate equipment. The neighbours were all lovely. The property is a long way from any amenities, making your own transport essential.

The cottage is nice, clean, comfortable and furnished with essentials in the kitchen. The location is rather remote and there are no stores or pubs within walking distance. Ashey road is narrow and no place to walk safely along the road so having a car is a must. There is a Tesco superstore about 10 minute drive away and Ryde is also about 10 minutRead moree drive away. On the plus side the remoteness is quiet and you wont hear traffic noise only birds and sounds of nature. Hide

Lovely little place. Clean and cosy. Good place to use as a base. Lovely touch with the welcome groceries- jam, marmalade, bread, milk, tea, coffee, sugar and shortbread.
