After a day exploring the countryside with your canine companion unwind in comfort at this charming cottage situated in the pretty village of East Chinnock. Located in Somerset but close to the borders of Dorset and Devon the surrounding area is perfect for keen walkers and families looking for peace and relaxation.
Originally a barn, the property has been converted into a delightful, welcoming space. On the ground floor, exposed beams, floral drapes, and homely decor create a relaxing atmosphere and after a day of exploring the lounge is the perfect place to unwind and rest tired feet and paws. While you sink into the sofa let Fido stretch out in front of the open fireplace, or step through to the kitchen and rustle up a delicious dinner. A pretty table by the lounge window is perfectly set up for family meals. At bedtime, choose between a king-size room and a single room on the ground floor or head upstairs to the twin room. All the rooms are light, airy, and pleasantly furnished and there’s even a separate playroom next to the twin bedroom. In the morning, step outside and enjoy breakfast on the terrace or head across the lane to the meadow shared with neighbouring guests, and let Fido stretch his legs on the extensive lawn.
Your pup will love sniffing out new scents in the wildflower meadow and exploring the beautiful Somerset countryside straight from the door. For further adventure head to Ham Hill Country Park (4.5 miles) and let Fido scamper through endless fields and woodland. For shops, restaurants, and cafes the market towns of Yeovil and Crewkerne are both 5 miles away. The Jurassic Coast is also worth exploring (18 miles) and Fido can walk on the shore at East Cliff Beach in West Bay.
