Adventure awaits the whole pack when staying in this charming two-bedroom cottage boasting balcony views across the Devonshire hills. Spend quality time stretching your legs along the iconic heritage coastline, play in the waves on world-renowned beaches, and explore the pretty countryside on foot and paw. Sniff out some history at Tintagel Castle (27 miles) or dine out in nearby dog-friendly pubs before returning to this cosy nest, welcoming two dogs, set on the outskirts of Holsworthy.

Enter the reverse-level cottage to find both bedrooms on the ground floor. Pick from the king-size bedroom with en-suite shower room, and the twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Potter upstairs to find a spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area. Settle down on the comfy sofas with some TV after adventurous days whilst your furry friends enjoy post-exercise snoozes by the wood burner. Take it in turns to whip up home-cooked meals in the kitchen and enjoy them around the table or al fresco-style in the garden. Double doors open onto a lovely balcony overlooking the surrounding countryside, a nice spot for your post-walk morning coffee. The garden outside boasts a furnished patio area, a lawn with a swing set and an enclosed paddock where the dogs can play safely off lead.

Stroll to Holsworthy (1 mile) and explore pretty streets lined with shops, eateries and independent boutiques. Grab a bite to eat in one of the pet-friendly pubs or attend the weekly market to browse local crafts and produce. The nearby beaches of Sandymouth Bay (12.5 miles) and Summerleaze Beach (10 miles) will set tails wagging with large stretches of sandy shoreline and dunes to play hide and seek in. Explore the coast and discover hidden caves, stone stairways and nature or seek out family fun at The Milky Way Adventure Park (15.5 miles).
