Enjoy mountain views and direct access to the river from this superb property in the Snowdonia National Park. Couples, friends, families and your two canine companions will relish the chance to get active outdoors and explore nearby beaches, gardens and stately homes before returning to relax in comfort and style.
This gorgeous house was fully refurbished in 2023 and enjoys a fresh, modern aesthetic, with quality furnishings throughout. The attractive kitchen is equipped with all the appliances you’ll need to make holiday cooking a breeze, and it flows through to the gorgeous lounge/diner, where there’s a dining area for six with leather chairs and a striking pendant light. After eating stroll over to the lounge area with its comfy leather sofas. In summer, throw open the French doors to the garden; in winter, snuggle around the feature electric fire. For an evening’s entertainment, enjoy the Smart TV, a book or a board game. Head up to the first floor for the three bedrooms, which are just as beautifully designed as the rest of the house. There are two king-size, one with an en-suite shower, and a pretty twin, as well as a family bathroom. For happy children and wagging tails, the enclosed, paved garden is furnished for al fresco suppers and has views of fields and mountains.
Located on National Trust land, the cottage lies in the heart of the pretty village of Beddgelert. Here you’ll find shops, pubs, restaurants and takeaways - including the oldest ice-cream parlour in Snowdonia. Visit the Sygun copper mine (mutts welcome) or head for Parc Glynllifon, 3 miles, where there are woodland walks, follies, sculptures, craft shops and a cafe. The Rhyd Ddu path that takes you to the summit of Snowdon is 3.5 miles, and Criccieth Castle and beach are 10.5 miles.
