Warm and cosy cottage in a beautiful and quiet location. All of the villagers we met were so friendly and welcoming when we were out and about. Great place to stay for country walks; visiting the lovely rural towns of Frome and Bradford on Avon; numerous National trust properties, gardens and historic places of interest. Both pubs are worth a visitRead more and we have every intention of a return visit. Hide

Townsend Cottage is a beautiful, comfortable, cosy and well equipped cottage in a friendly and attractive village. We loved our stay there and have already planned our return trip. The owners have thought of everything most of their guests might need. The arrival instructions were very clear and the system works well. We received a very warm welcomRead moree from the Cross Keys which is about a minutes walk away and serves fabulous food. It is a busy pub and booking is advisable. Hide

Wonderful cottage in a pretty village. The cottage had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone.

The cottage was very beautiful, warm, spacious and comfortable and the hosts were helpful. The advice and information folder gave excellent advice about nearby restaurants and takeaways but the technical instructions for the heating and the TV were not that easy to follow.

We absolutely loved the place, it has it's own character, a beautifully cottage ideally located in a very quaint village. The bed was very comfortable and the couches very nice to sit on, (or lie on). We would highly recommend this quaint cottage to a couple looking for a comfortable get away.
