On a working farm close to Holywell, it’s an ideal base for walking, horse riding and exploring the delightful coast and countryside of North Wales.

Step straight into the kitchen/diner, which has fitted cupboards and a large fridge/freezer, plus a sweet dining table for four. Head into the lounge and you’ll find leather sofas arranged around a wood-burner-effect electric fire and a Smart TV - a comfortable place to while away an evening with a movie, a game or a good book. Soft tones in all three bedrooms - a double and two singles, sharing a spacious shower room - should help you achieve a great night’s sleep. The paved outside space is another great spot in which to relax, surrounded by green fields, whether you fancy a morning cuppa, an evening tipple or something grilled on the BBQ. It’s safely enclosed, so hounds and children can play to their heart’s content. There’s bike storage on site and, what’s more, if you would like to bring your horses, there is a small equestrian facility with menage and private stabling available by prior arrangement with the owner.

This area is perfect for walkers - pull on your boots, grab the lead and head out to Offa’s Dyke Path, the Wales Coast Path, Pennant Walk or the hills of the Clwydian Range. The traditional market town of Holywell, home to the world-famous 7th century St Winefride’s Holy Well, is 2 miles away, the shops and eateries of Mold are just 11 miles, and the beach at Prestatyn is 9 miles.

We were very pleased with the cottage ,comfortable bed ,great shower,and good cooking facilities. We were welcomed with the essentials,milk,bread and Wales cakes . Very friendly people and helpful.we were surrounded with farms and horses and chickens.
