Take a refreshing break in Norfolk and stay in this beautiful cottage. It’s perfect for a mixed group and their dogs to explore the gorgeous countryside, enjoy hearty lunches in pubs, and then return for an evening of relaxation and bonding.
As you enter the property, you’ll find a cosy lounge with a wood burner. It’s the perfect place to curl up with a good book and a mug of hot chocolate (or a glass of wine) while your dogs snooze at your feet. Up a step and you’re in the dining room, which has space for the whole party and is lit through the wide windows and patio doors. There’s also a gleaming and well-equipped kitchen for rustling up snacks or picnics for big days out. You’ll find four bedrooms, one double bedroom downstairs, and a king-size, king-size zip-and-link, and a single on the first floor. Outside is an enclosed patio, surrounded by a fence and some bushes so your dogs have plenty to sniff out.
Docking is a lovely village with plenty of dog-friendly eateries if you don’t fancy cooking after a big day. You’ll be able to go on lots of walks and explore the Norfolk coastline. The closest canine-compatible beach is Heacham South Beach, 7.5 miles away, and just along from Hunstanton, which is 8 miles from the cottage. Hunstanton is a fun and traditional seaside town with an amusement arcade and plenty of spots to enjoy fish and chips. Finally, change the salty air for something sweet with a day at Norfolk Lavender, a 100-acre lavender farm, 5.5 miles.
