Take a trip to Lymington with your family and dogs for a fun summer holiday. This cottage is ideally placed for anyone ready to explore the New Forest, the Isle of Wight, or to just have a good time in a seaside town.

As you enter the property, you’ll find a spacious living area which combines a kitchen, lounge, and dining room. This makes it a great location for socialising with your family even as you do different activities. You’ll find a playroom for the children on the ground floor, which comes with some toys if you don’t want to bring lots with you. There are three upstairs bedrooms: one king-size for the adults, a twin room for kids, and a single which would suit a teenager who needs some extra privacy. Finally, you’ll find the garden which is enclosed so dogs can roam around. There’s also a dining area and a gas BBQ for sunny afternoons.

This cottage is part of the mainland but has access to the Isle of Wight via a ferry. It’s 5.5 miles and should take around an hour from leaving the property to arriving in Yarmouth. While you’re there, stop off for a picnic in Yarmouth Castle for great views of the sea. If you’d prefer to splash around in the water, try the dog-friendly beach at Highcliffe, 8.5 miles from the cottage. If you’d like to see more old buildings, Hurst Castle is 4 miles away and welcomes dogs, or for water and wildlife, take a trip to Normandy Lagoon, 2 miles away.

This house was fantastic, we had a lovely stay. I was nervous about taking my 9 month old and 2 year old on holiday, but the house was so child friendly - the play room and garden were exactly what we needed. We all had a really lovely time!

A really lovely property to stay with young children. Lots of equipment, stair gates and a lovely play room. An excellent position for walking into town and in close proximity to shops and local amenities as well as visiting the area by car.

Excellent location, only 10 mins walk into centre of Lymington! The house is spotless and very comfortable. The garden space was great for relaxing and for our little dog. The house has everything you would need. We loved the bed linen and the Blue House towels. Nice touch!

This property is in a great location and you wont be disappointed or wanting for things to do. A brief walk to Lymington which is lovely. The house itself is nice. Unfortunately when we visited it hadnt be cleaned very well and certain things should be replaced such as cups, plates etc. and BBQ which are dirty and worn out. Otherwise well equipped,Read more especially for kids. Hide
