Take a trip to Lymington with your family and dogs for a fun summer holiday. This cottage is ideally placed for anyone ready to explore the New Forest, the Isle of Wight, or to just have a good time in a seaside town.
As you enter the property, you’ll find a spacious living area which combines a kitchen, lounge, and dining room. This makes it a great location for socialising with your family even as you do different activities. You’ll find a playroom for the children on the ground floor, which comes with some toys if you don’t want to bring lots with you. There are three upstairs bedrooms: one king-size for the adults, a twin room for kids, and a single which would suit a teenager who needs some extra privacy. Finally, you’ll find the garden which is enclosed so dogs can roam around. There’s also a dining area and a gas BBQ for sunny afternoons.
This cottage is part of the mainland but has access to the Isle of Wight via a ferry. It’s 5.5 miles and should take around an hour from leaving the property to arriving in Yarmouth. While you’re there, stop off for a picnic in Yarmouth Castle for great views of the sea. If you’d prefer to splash around in the water, try the dog-friendly beach at Highcliffe, 8.5 miles from the cottage. If you’d like to see more old buildings, Hurst Castle is 4 miles away and welcomes dogs, or for water and wildlife, take a trip to Normandy Lagoon, 2 miles away.
