Unwind in the secluded countryside of Snowdonia National Park. For a family escape or group getaway, this beautiful old farmhouse and separate cottage offer so much, including stunning views, stylish decor and heaps of historic character.
Enjoy the incredible views as you arrive along the narrow, mile-long drive that brings you to these two neighbouring properties. In the farmhouse you’ll find flagstone floors, latched doors, old beams and exposed stone. The inglenook in the lounge houses a wood burner, and there’s plenty of seating so you can curl up with a book or a movie on the Smart TV. The spacious kitchen includes a double oven for culinary adventures, and there’s a separate dining room as well as a utility room with a shower, WC and laundry facilities. On this floor you’ll also find a bedroom for one with a double bed. Upstairs, there are three further bedrooms: a king-size, a twin (super-king-size on request) and a room for one with a 4’ bed, sharing a family bathroom. A few metres away, the cottage boasts underfloor heating and many period features, including a beamed, apex ceiling in the lounge/diner, which has a TV and a wood-burner-effect electric stove. It also includes a well-equipped kitchen, a bathroom and two further bedrooms - a king-size and a cosy twin. The grounds include a comfy seating area, patio with dining furniture, BBQ, fire pit and hot tub.
This lovely retreat is set on an acre of land 2 miles east of Harlech, where there are shops, restaurants, cafes and takeaways, as well as a clifftop medieval castle and a sandy beach where your pups can run for miles. Within 8 miles you can reach Criccieth Castle and beach, Coed-y-Brenin Forest Park and the fascinating Portmeirion Italianate village.
