Go for walkies along the riverbank and then stop off for a bite to eat in one of the village’s dog-friendly pubs. In the evening, take a seat on the lodge’s lovely private deck, pour yourself a glass of wine and soak up the serene sounds of woodland.
Step through the patio door and you'll immediately notice the charming rustic style of this quaint lodge. Take a moment to make yourself at home in the cosy living/dining room before heading to the stylish kitchen to rustle up some dinner while your loved ones check out the heated outdoor swimming pool (seasonal only), children’s activity centre and crazy golf area. Enjoy a sociable dinner in the dining area, or step outside and dine alfresco on the pretty terrace. After dinner, take a seat on the terrace and enjoy the woodland scenery with your faithful friend at your side. When it is time for bed, there are two lovely bedrooms to choose from.
Pack up a picnic and head to Poppit Sands Beach (12 miles), where you can enjoy a day of swimming, sunbathing and beachcombing. Your pup is allowed on most of the beach, except for the western section between May 1 and September 30. Alternatively, head to Cardigan (9 miles) where your pup is welcome at the Welsh Wildlife Centre and Cardigan Castle.
